Comments: For over 30 years Dr. Comics & Mr. Games has been a stalwart supporter of fandom communities across the spectrum. Our Free Comic Book Day events are a cornerstone of Bay Area comic and fandom cultures, and since the inception of the event have drawn massive, daylong crowds. On this day we hand out thousands of free comics to any and all visitors to our shop. Our ordering threshold is one of the highest in the Bay Area to ensure everyone attending can participate. This volume includes an allocation for schools and libraries in the area, which we also support through routine donations year-round. However, our primary goal for every Free Comic Book Day is to create a fun atmosphere to help fuel the imagination of kids.
