My fiancé and I are really big Star Wars fans hence the Stars Wars themed wedding. What we envision for the wedding is we would love to have 3 storm troopers and Lord Darth Vadar be present at the wedding or anyone who would be wiling to show. The wedding is all in one location in Morgan Hill, CA, during the ceremony we would love it if the Storm Toppers could act like they are guarding the place, our officiant will be dressed as a Jedi. We are not expecting a performance we want everyone to have a great time and have a Star Wars feel. We plan on having 100 guests and have encouraged everyone to bring lightsabers and other Star Wars gear. We would provide food and provide refreshments, also we would love to provide a donation in your name to whatever charity of your choosing. Let us know if you need anything in order to make the event comfortable for your garrison.

We are testing our participation in weddings again, part of this test phase is that all troopers MUST be dressed down prior to the reception. We are informing Event Requesters that Troopers are to dress down as soon as the ceremony is over. If they want pictures with us that must happen prior to the ceremony or immediately after, no hurry up and wait. If they are not ready for photos with us immediately we dress down, NO EXCEPTIONS

Sorry, but it looks like I won’t be able to do this event after all. Thought this was on a Saturday. Don’t think I’ll have enough time after work to get there and be ready.

Sign me up as a TK. The wineries in Morgan Hill are all charming little places right at the base of the foothills. A couple of questions:
– The ER would like us to act as guards during the wedding. If it turns out to be a hot afternoon, will there be some sort of shade cover?
– Is it a short ceremony? If it is a long ceremony, is there a spot in the ceremony where we could make a graceful exit?
Having done weddings in the past, I know the usual pitfalls.

Hello! As per my conversation with Brent yesterday, I have to withdraw my name from this troop. My hubby surprised me with a trip for that weekend. Sorry I won’t be able to troop with you guys. Weddings are hit or miss, but the right crew always makes a troop fun.
