Event Name: Season’s Greeting for InfernoCon [Virtual Troop]

Comments: [From the Garrison Tyranus]: During last year’s InfernoCon Holiday Special, we raised money for Make-A-Wish, talked to special guests, learned some fun facts about Star Wars ships, and had such a good time that we decided we have to do it again. The InfernoCon Holiday Special Returns will stream LIVE on December 18th, 2021, and we’d like to include YOU! We are looking for season’s greetings from any of our troopers, Garrisons, Outposts, Squads and Detachments. We are looking for: – Simple videos. Selfie-style is fine! – 15 to 30 seconds – Feel free to use your native language.

Virtual troop TOD

Earn a TOD by recording a short season’s greeting video of waving or holding the below signs:

Videos should be taken horizontally and in good lighting.

Participating in this troop will count as an official troop and count towards your census.

Uploading Photos/Videos

Rename your video to your name & TKID (example: Aaron Brown TK-12345).

To get credit, you’ll need to suit up in your armor/uniform, rename the video with your name and ID, upload to the submission folder by 11/28/21.

TROOP TIPS

Do

– Wear your full approved costume as you would in normal troops

– Be safe when taking your photos/videos and avoid dangerous stunts

– Set a good example and maintain social distancing.

Don’t

– No brandishing or pointing weapons toward the camera.

– Target/mock any groups of people, even if meant as a joke

– Take your buckets off or do anything else outside the CRL.

– Gather with fellow troopers to do a joint shoot (remember social distancing) unless in the same family

Remember, even at home, we are still the proud 501st Legion. We are still representing the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, birthplace of Star Wars, home of Lucasfilm, and the golden gateway to the Empire itself.
