Comments: Hey Golden Gate Garrison! It’s Shaun Pugmire (TB/TK-25415) one of your fellow Garrison members talking here. I’ve previously spearheaded a few Star Wars themed events at a church I worked for and they were a ton of fun.  I’m now working at a Multi-site church in the South Bay/Peninsula area and they also love Sar Wars!

We have a Star Wars (specifically The Last Jedi) themed week coming up that is part of a Summer series called “Summer at the Movies”. This is a really fun series that the church does every year where they highlight huge movies that came out that year. Each of the campuses has things like movie snacks and photo booths, with special activities each week for the specific movie that’s being highlighted.

Obviously, the second that I heard we were doing a week on Star Wars I jumped on the opportunity to get as much Star Wars representation as possible. As a church, we partner with a great many local Bay Area charities and would love to make a donation to a local chapter of a charity the 501st partners with.

We would love to have characters available for photo ops and mingling at each of our 6 locations across the South Bay and Peninsula (I know…that’s a lot!).

Would love to tackle this huge event with all of you! It will be a ton of fun!
