In light of recent events, The GGG CS would like to enforce a temporary weapons stand down at events for the month of August, Please keep weapons holstered or do not carry them at all.

Sabers or non traditional weapons are okay. Please check with Team Leads or CS if you have any questions.

Greetings troopers,

 

SVCC is back and the GGG is attending all 3 Days with other fan groups.

We would like to plan on having Main anchor characters out at all times:

Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Boba Fett ..
One will be at the booth, the other can Work the floor or halls as needed.
Rotation will be essential. We don’t except any member to Troop the whole Day.

 

We will have a Check in sheet at the booth.

3 HR Troop for TOD credit. – Trooping with breaks in a 3-hour period.
2 HR Booth for TOD Handler Credit

We also will need help Setting up each Day and Breaking down each Day.

Information on SVCC issued passes for fan groups & discounts on tickets TBD

Any PASSES will be granted to those members who are able to attend & support the Garrison all 3 Days.

Silicon Valley Comic Con 2019 will be issuing badges for Fan Table staff. You should have received a voucher email. Deadline to register your staff is August  12, 2019.

When registering to make sure that each person working the Fan Table has their first and last name.

Do not put any placeholder names.

Upon check-in, Fan Table staff will need to present a valid government issued ID to receive their badge.

Badges are non-transferable and are the property of SVCC. At SVCC badge swapping and/or sharing is strictly prohibited. Anyone found using another person badge will have the badge confiscated and will be removed from the premises. The SVCC badge must be worn at all times.

On-Site Registration Location and Hours:  You will pick up badges at the:

Exhibitor Registration Counters located in the Blue Tent behind the convention center.

Unfortunately it will be the same setup as last (2018)  both for the table placement and for the changing rooms. Sorry for it being split across the sides, but it is the space as allotted.

Set Up for Friday ..Any time after 8am.

Also, there may be an event with the Mayor out front of the convention center at 2pm, I would like to get a few troopers to head out to be part of the event.

      Hello Everyone. My name is Rob and I am a member of the Central California Garrison. I have been a member since 2006 (Pretty soon I will have spent more years of my life as a member than not) I came over here to sign up for the Disneyland Trip and saw you all are doing SVCC. I have signed up for all 3 days and will be there for all 3 days. I would love to suit up and join you all at SVCC. Please let me know if this is only for Garrison members. I look forward to meeting you all there. I am a IC with an excellent imagination and I bring with me very refined children interaction skills from years as a Teacher. I am going to copy this intro to the other days so people can get to know me a little bit. Look forward to seeing you all!!!
