Please briefly describe the event: October is National Down Syndrome Awareness month.  The Annual Bay Area Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk and Family Picnic is on October 7th, 2018 in Pleasant Hill. The event will bring more than 1500 people together to celebrate acceptance and inclusion.  This walk is also the DSCBA’s largest fundraiser that is expected to raise over $200,000 in program dollars.  We are honored to have Gold Event Sponsors…Macys and John Muir Health with us again this year.

It is a fun day full of activities. Carnival, food trucks, marching band etc. We are charitable Organization – Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area.
