The Livermore Innovation Fair will be held Saturday, May 4th which coincides with the popular celebration of “May the 4th Be With You” from the popular series of movies, “Star Wars.” The event occurs before the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing which will also be held at the Bankhead Theater. We anticipate that the theme will highlight the pursuit of ambitious goals (shooting for the moon), the exciting limitless possibilities of scientific discovery, and the collective advancement of humankind – based on the quote “One small step for man, One giant leap for mankind” by Apollo Astronaut Neil Armstrong.

Approximately 5,000 people attended last year, 175 student projects were exhibited, and 12 local Tri-Valley teachers participated in the event.
