4/16 – 4/19 Greetings of Love for Liam Gill

We have been asked to send some encouragement and prayers, out to 3 year old Liam Gill, and his Mom and Dad Tracy and Oscar Gill. Liam is battling stage 4 Glioblastoma, and Liam and the Family, could sure use some light right now.

If you can, please send a letter or card, written to Liam, Tracy and Oscar, sending words of prayer, love, light and encouragement. At 3 years of age, Liam may also enjoy trading cards with a short note. Family friend, Darlene, will take them to the family.

Virtual troop TOD
We will be making a video for Liam and family to show our support. We are asking for a 10-15 second video in costume for TOD credit. You may choose to wave, make a heart symbol with your hands, or make and hold a sign for Liam.

Videos should be filmed horizontally and in good lighting

Participating in this troop will count as an official troop and count towards your census.
To get credit, you’ll need to suit up in your appropriate costume(s) and post video, rename video with your name and ID, in this folder by 4/19/20:

TROOP TIPS
Do
• wear your full approved costume as you would in normal troops
• be safe when taking your photos/videos and avoid dangerous stunts
• Set a good example and maintain social distancing.

Don’t
• no weapons. Leave at home.
• Target/mock any groups of people, even if meant as a joke
• Take your buckets off or do anything else outside the CRL.
• Gather with fellow troopers to do a joint shoot (remember social distancing)

Remember, even at home, we are still the proud 501st Legion. We are still representing the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, birthplace of Star Wars, home of Lucasfilm, and the golden gateway to the Empire itself.
