Similar to the other ‘Pass the Patch’ we will be passing any Garrison/Squad/Outpost Coin. If you have any questions about it, email me at ec.kdizon@gmail.com.

Please record yourself arms length away.

Start with the coin infront of your camera (eclipsing it) then pull it towards you at chest/shoulder level displaying the coin, then move it back toward the camera (eclipsing it) again.

Videos should be filmed horizontally and in good lighting.

Participating in this troop will count as an official troop and count towards your census.
To get credit, you’ll need to suit up in your appropriate costume(s) and post video, rename video with your name and ID, in this folder by 8/22/20:

TROOP TIPS
Do
– Wear your full approved costume as you would in normal troops
– Be safe when taking your photos/videos and avoid dangerous stunts
– Set a good example and maintain social distancing.

Don’t

– No weapons. Leave at home.
– Target/mock any groups of people, even if meant as a joke
– Take your buckets off or do anything else outside the CRL.
– Gather with fellow troopers to do a joint shoot (remember social distancing)

Remember, even at home, we are still the proud 501st Legion. We are still representing the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, birthplace of Star Wars, home of Lucasfilm, and the golden gateway to the Empire itself.

    Thanks everyone for uploading by the original deadline! I extended the deadline one week since some troopers expressed interest in doing this but didn’t realize the deadline had lapsed! Spread the word if you know other troopers who wanted to do a video but was discouraged of the time restraint!

    Sorry, my husband had a lot of trouble filming me. putting the coin right up to the lens made me totally out of focus most of the time. I think we needed to just use a cell phone but there is not way he’s going to do more takes so I hope what I have sent is usable, I’m sending 2 takes with the 501st coin and two with the black widow, it’s the best I could do.
