12/10 – 12/13 Greetings of Love for MAX

Central Garrison is asking for help to send some encouragement and prayers to a young fan named Max. Max is not doing well and is in the hospital. He should be having surgery on Tuesday (but hospice might be called in) so we need to shower him with videos before then!

Central Garrison gifted him a mando helmet and it has brought him so much happiness he wears it everywhere he goes. He also has a 501st banner in his bedroom door, which he proudly tells everyone he is going to join the Legion when he is old enough. Max and his family could sure use some light right now, and we can help!!

Virtual troop TOD
Central Garrison will be making a video for Max and his family. We are asking for a 5-10 second video in costume for TOD credit. You may choose to verbally wish him well, wave, make a heart symbol with your hands, and/or hold the provided MAX Sign.

Videos should be filmed horizontally and in good lighting

Participating in this troop will count as an official troop and count towards your census.
To get credit, you’ll need to suit up in your appropriate costume(s) and post video, rename video with your name and ID, in this folder by 11:59pm on 12/13/20:

TROOP TIPS
Do
• wear your full approved costume as you would in normal troops
• be safe when taking your photos/videos and avoid dangerous stunts
• Set a good example and maintain social distancing.

Don’t
• no weapons. Leave at home.
• Target/mock any groups of people, even if meant as a joke
• Take your buckets off or do anything else outside the CRL.
• Gather with fellow troopers to do a joint shoot (remember social distancing)

Remember, even at home, we are still the proud 501st Legion. We are still representing the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, birthplace of Star Wars, home of Lucasfilm, and the golden gateway to the Empire itself.
