Event Name: Blood Donation Headshot

Venue: your local blood donation center/blood bank

Comments: With the ongoing issues related to the pandemic, blood donations are extremely low. This coincides with the blood shortage we are experiencing nationally. To make sure we can support our communities now and in the immediate future, we are asking anyone who can donate, to please give blood to your local blood bank, or nearest blood donation center. Please be mindful of the eligibility requirements per donation location (which can typically be found online).

If you are able to take a picture of yourself during your donation, without compromising anybody’s confidentiality, those are acceptable. We will also accept a picture of you with/in your bucket in front on the blood center. Remember: Photos should be taken horizontally and in good lighting.

 Virtual Troop TOD. Participating in this troop will count as an official troop and count towards your census. Not all submitted content may be used, but will still be counted toward as a TOD. If you have an issue with signing up for the event, don’t worry, you’ll still get credit as long as you donate blood, and take a head-shot of you in/with your bucket or officer hat at the blood center, rename picture with your name and ID, and upload it to the folder below by 3/7/21.

TROOP TIPS
Do:
– use you full approved bucket or officer hat as you would in normal troops
– Be safe when taking your photos/videos and avoid dangerous stunts
– Set a good example and maintain social distancing.

Don’t:
– No weapons. Leave at home
– Target/mock any groups of people, even if meant as a joke
– Take your buckets off or do anything else outside the CRL.
– Gather with fellow troopers to do a joint shoot (remember social distancing)
