Comments: Apollo 11 Splashdown Anniversary Event. The USS Hornet was the recovery vessel for the Apollo 11 Moon mission and as such we have a large collection of Apollo exhibits and artifacts. On July 24th, for the 51st anniversary, we will have special exhibits, guests and speakers all themed to the space program for our guests to enjoy.
