Event Name: Children’s Dental Health Month Virtual Troop Video

Please record yourself in costume doing two actions and read 1-2 pages of a children’s book that I will provide:

1. Demonstrating Toothbrushing (circular technique for 2 min) then thumbs up / wave/ smile at the camera. 
2. Drinking water (don’t show labels if can help it) then thumbs up / wave/ smile at the camera. 
3. I will send you a scanned page to hold up and read. (Expect an email from me once you sign up.)

*I will put video examples in the google drive of myself so please refer to that.

Videos should be filmed horizontally and in good lighting.

Participating in this troop will count as an official troop and count towards your census. Not all submitted contact may be used, but will still be counted toward as a TOD.

To get credit, you’ll need to suit up in your appropriate costume(s) and post video, rename video with your name and ID, in this folder by 2/12/2021:

TROOP TIPS

Do

– Wear your full approved costume as you would in normal troops

– Be safe when taking your photos/videos and avoid dangerous stunts

– Set a good example and maintain social distancing.

Don’t

– No brandishing or pointing weapons toward the camera.

– Target/mock any groups of people, even if meant as a joke

– Take your buckets off or do anything else outside the CRL.

– Gather with fellow troopers to do a joint shoot (remember social distancing)

Remember, even at home, we are still the proud 501st Legion. We are still representing the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, birthplace of Star Wars, home of Lucasfilm, and the golden gateway to the Empire itself.

To sign up with a costume, click on the drop down menu under spaces and select 2. Then there will be a costume type drop down menu for your costume. Select your costume then click on the drop down menu under spaces again, and select 1.
