—–UPDATES FROM EVENT REQUESTER—–
b. It is an evening time parade. Our goal is to share the rich Chinese culture with all, and be inclusive. This parade is the largest Chinese New Year parade outside of China and is the second oldest said parade in the US. There are university and high school bands, floats, martial arts groups, and cultural-themed units.
c. Photo opportunities and parade goer interaction. This is an outdoor event open to the public. Any character requested with limit up to 200. Invited: all California 501st garrisons, rebel legion bases, MMCC clubs, and local saber guild. This will be an inaugural event for the troopers to participate in and hopefully a tradition.
d. No blasters; light sabers ok; helmets ok;

I’m available for handling and transport for north bay folks if need be. If it’s of any use, I have a shorty Sprinter van that I can drive down. We can stuff a lot of bins in it.
I’ll be coming over the hill for this one please put jamie franscella down as a tusken raider
Event Coordinator, due to Covid related issues, I’d like to recind my ticket as Darth Maul and put my name in for Beskar Din Djarin. If other Din’s sign up, that’s great, and I can act in another role to support the team. Thanks!
Count me in for Tie Reserve.
Signing up as an Imperial Gunner, Cloud City Garrison, Oregon. I have trooped with some of you in the past, looking forward to doing it again!
hey greg! i havent formally met u but i know u came down for the hollywd xmas parade in nov
Yes, and I’ve trooped with Stacy in the past, before WonderCon moved to LA. Looking forward to this, one of my co-workers has seen the parade in the past. LIkely going to get a hotel at Union Square with expensive parking and get there as early as possible Saturday AM, must leave Oregon about 3AM.
MEEP! On-call calendar changed, will see if I can swap with someone otherwise i’ll have to give up my costume ticket. More to come soon.
oh no. hope the swap happens. gluck!
*crossing fingers
Are there any plans for a pre-or post parade feedbag anywhere? It may affect where I pick a place to stay.
Darryl Paule as handler. Hoping my fiancé will be able to get her handler cert before then.
In as ANH TIE Pilot.
I’ll be there primarily supporting Endor, but can also help GGG members dress. I will not be walking. I will be staying at the changing area.
I’ll be there as clone Captain Vaughn! If we end up needing more handlers, I can also drop the costume and handle.
I’ll be singing up as my tk-Deathtrooper. Bringing my family with me and signed my wife as handler as well.
Brandy and I will not be attending.
