Comments
.
I submitted my interest to attend this event as TFA TK (assuming that my wife, Karen Louie, could assist me with the costume and event handler… Karen had previously completed Handler training with Diana Torres). If Karen is not approved to be handler for this event, I would attend as standard Stormtrooper.
Please have Karen sign up as handler on the event signup. If she has trouble, email our garrison web Liason and he will sort it out: gwm@501stggg.com. We would love to have her handle this event!
TI plz n thx.
i’m in as red robe Palpy
In for TI: 181st and handler as needed.

We have an empty airplane holdroom that is in a private room underneath Gate 7 called 7a. There are restrooms nearby. The City of San Jose prohibits us from giving out bottled water, but we may be able to provide pitchers of water.
Comments: No restrictions on characters and props. You will all have to go through security with your bins and TSA will check them ER would like us to mingle through Gate 2- Gate 28 stopping for photos ops with passengers at the airport. Private room for storing bins and changing and a parking lot to park in near the terminal which will be validated so FREE parking! This is the first time an event like this is happening at the airport and they want to build on a good event with more in the future! Maybe even photos on the tarmac in the future!!!

NOTES: Parked in Lot 2; Acting ER got us our Gate Passes then we walked through TSA. TSA manually checked out bins and we went through the security. Changing room was near Gate 7A. Elevator and stair access to our changing area. It was huge and had seats and counters. A member of ground staff watched our bins while we trooped. Walked from Terminal A to Terminal B (TSA to TSA) then walked back while photo ops with travelers and staff. It was fun, tiring because of all the walking with no breaks- recommend having a few stopping areas with nice back drops at future events for the troopers to rest and for more photo ops. ER validated parking for us. Great troop at this first time event and they already want us back for next year!
