Detail:
Arrived on-site at noon PM.
The parking is attached to the building- which was very convenient. (44 S. 4th Street, also known as the 4th Street Parking garage.) The ER validated our parking. It was very easy to get from the parking garage to the Rotunda, less than a five-minute walk, and the volunteers were watching for us to let us in. We had plenty of time to change before the event started. There was a dedicated security guard to watch the room while we trooped the event, which we very much appreciated. The attendance was light at 1 PM (less than 30 people, maybe?), but the rotunda started to fill up more as it approached the awards ceremony, and by 2 PM, the room was full. We took pictures with pretty much all attendees and their families and this kept us busy. We also walked around and greeted people at their tables, socializing with the kids. After about an hour, the kids headed off for their awards ceremonies and we were done. We suited down and left the site aorund 2:30 PM.
