Details:
Arrived on-site at 4:30 PM. Next year, I would arrive even earlier. The earlier the better with this troop due to tight parking. Also, consider coordinating off-site parking, (i.e. troopers meet at the mall and consolidate into fewer cars. Bonus: you can have dinner there later.) 🙂
In discussing it with Gynnie, it would make sense to troop from 5-6 PM rather than 6-7 PM so that troopers do not have to navigate in the dark.
Otherwise, fantastic troop! Great families. The Sheriff’s office is a pleasure to work with on this event, and we had a VERY large changing space with tables this year. They gave us the full community room this year, (versus the closet of the community room.)
