Come join Monterey Firefighters as we host our 4th annual pancake breakfast at station 11 in downtown Monterey. Proceeds from the event help “My Museum”, a local children’s museum that helps kids learn through the art of play. Firefighters serve pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee and juice to community members and visitors. A local radio station DJ broadcast live from the event while attendees eat at the fire station, check out fire engines, participate in crafts, enjoy face painting and hangout with local firefighters.
One block away from the station is were the start of the July 4th parade begins. The parade goes through down town and ends back at the fire station. We would greatly appreciate having stormtroopers join us for the pancake breakfast and lead the way for the Monterey Firefighters fire engine in the parade. Last year they estimated 15,000 people attended the parade and surrounding events such as the pancake breakfast and lawn party at city hall.
Every Stormtrooper who participates will receive free tickets to the breakfast. A changing area of 1,100 sqft will be available at the station for changing.
Stormtroopers who attended last year expressed they had an outstanding time and that the changing area was big.
