My Fiancee Naomi and I are getting married on May the Fourth, at the Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland. As we are both Star Wars fans and managed to secure the proper date, we are going to have a Star Wars themed wedding.
Attendees are welcome to cosplay, we’ve requested as many lightsabers as people can bring for a photo shoot under a tunnel of them, (fingers crossed) an R2-D2 will be the ring bearer and interact with our guests (children are welcome).
We thought it would be awesome to have a detachment of Stormtroopers in attendance to provide “security”, usher guests between phases of the event (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, telescope viewing), and interact / mess with the guests.
We can provide a list of suspected spies and sympathizers that are worthy of extra scrutiny.
All Troopers and handlers will be fed, of course.
