The ship has a Volunteer Station Request. Please let me know if you are interested as a handler or in soft costume. It’s a bit difficult to get to these spots in armor.

From Laura: I was wondering if anyone in any of your various regiments would be willing to take on one or two shifts to fill in the very few volunteer gaps that we have throughout our convention. Specifically the following few time slots:

Panel Room 1, Midday (Noon-3PM): You would be partnered with the volunteer for Panel Room 2 here so except for the first few minutes at the beginning and end of the shift, so long as one of the two volunteers are at the door checking wristbands, the other would be free to relax/eat/go bathroom.

Photo Track, Midday (Noon-3PM): This time is blocked out for our 02 Photo Track. It was switched during the later hours of the day when the other coordinator was still shuffling volunteer positions. The hole we have in the Photo Track is actually for the Afternoon shift, which will be up in the Captain’s Bridge. As I told Stacy, it’s not as cool as CIC, but it does still have the captain’s chair and command over the entire vessel, so that’s not too shabby either. If you do have a few volunteers who could work that shift as well, that would be fantastic!

    Youth Day Pass $15
(Youth are 17 and Under, anyone under 14 must have an Adult Chaperone.)

A Day Pass to CarrierCon includes:

Admission to the Museum (allows you to go on any scheduled guided tours and everywhere Museum guests have access)
Admission into CarrierCon designated spaces (includes gaming and screening rooms and artist alley)

Photo Tracks and Haunted Tour Access Add-On will be sold on-site for an additional $15 if you choose to upgrade later. So you can level up to VIP once trooping commitments are met. Something for everyone, yay!

Thanks to the troopers who added on. We’ve got a heckuva crew tomorrow.

To clarify, everyone does not need to show up right at 0800. Those of us setting up are, but spreading out the love during the day is fine. Just let us know when you’re coming in.

No strict table sign-up as we have lots of coverage, yay. Our panel is at 2pm and we’re mulling various photo shoots when timing works out.

Also, post-troop noms at Nations burgers and Dominoes and Sakura are all options. Something for everyone, yummeh.
