The San Leandro Cherry Festival is a long-standing San Leandro tradition celebrating our past, present and future! The first San Leandro Cherry Festival was held in 1909; this year will mark the 108th Anniversary. Many things have changed over the years but one thing remains the same; the strong sense of community identity and pride the Cherry Festival brings to San Leandro!
This year’s Cherry Festival will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 11a.m. – 6 p.m. in historic downtown San Leandro on West Estudillo Avenue
between Hays Street and San Leandro Boulevard. For the third year, the Cherry Festival will kick off with a parade. The early Cherry Festivals began
with a parade. We want to continue this wonderful tradition. The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Boys and Girls Club.
