Handler/Photographer: Yes (no photographer) If you were to bring a photographer along, you would need to be mindful that foster children are bound by laws of confidentiality.  As such, we aren’t allowed to post pictures of them on websites, social media spaces, etc.

Comments: We hold movie nights for foster children and their caregivers throughout the year. Pizza, snacks and other refreshments are on hand at these events. We are planning on showing a Star Wars movie at our April movie night– and would love it if members of your group would be able to join us. We always take photos of kids/families at these events — and would hope you would be on hand to pose in pictures with our kids. Because there are confidentiality laws tied to foster children, we would have to limit any pictures you, yourselves, took at the event accordingly. (The pictures we take go directly to the families — and don’t find their way onto social media or any other venue). The church we use for our movie nights has a large movie screen and a stage. The date I have listed on this request form — April 13th. We can probably do any other Friday evening in April if need be. Please be in touch with me about any other logistical questions. I know how excited my own kids were to see you at last year’s May the Fourth event in downtown Santa Cruz. I’d really love to see our foster in that. Hoping you are able to join us!
