Event Name: ‘Happy Birthday’ Video Troop

Even though we do not accept any birthday party troops (with some exception), it would be nice if we could send a compilation of birthday wishes to the birthday trooper via holonet (video.)

Please record yourself in costume saying “Happy Birthday.” (If you would like to hold a sign (white blank piece of paper) where I can superimpose a name in later, that would be great!!!)

And, you can also say encouraging words like “The Empire wishes you to have a good day” or “The Power of the Dark side is with you,” etc. If you have any questions about it, email me at liz.tk51723@gmail.com

Videos should be filmed horizontally and in good lighting.

Participating in this troop will count as an official troop and count towards your census.

To get credit, you’ll need to suit up in your appropriate costume(s) and post video, rename video with your name and ID, in this folder by end of day 10/28/22

TROOP TIPS

Do

– Wear your full approved costume as you would in normal troops

– Be safe when taking your photos/videos and avoid dangerous stunts

– Set a good example and maintain social distancing.

Don’t

– No brandishing or pointing weapons toward the camera.

– Target/mock any groups of people, even if meant as a joke

– Take your buckets off or do anything else outside the CRL.

– Gather with fellow troopers to do a joint shoot (remember social distancing)

Remember, even at home, we are still the proud 501st Legion. We are still representing the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, birthplace of Star Wars, home of Lucasfilm, and the golden gateway to the Empire itself.
