Comments

  1. Walter Ronald

I have accepted to be John Schlosser’s Team Leader and 501st Legion Booth set up. I will work with John closely on the event and booth requirements. Any questions, please contact at 408-476-5714 Cell. No costume troop for me. Thank you.

  2. Jason Goldman-Hall

Signed up in case you need a hard count, I’m also signed up for this with the Rebel Legion (I signed up there first) so I will be spending time with both groups if possible.

  3. Karen Katich

Please remove my name from the attendance list. I was informed by my manager today that I will need to cover the work shift that day due to one of our technicians being out for shoulder surgery. We are short handed with other techs being gone on leave as well as TDY duty. Apologies.

  4. JUDITH GRIVICH

I’ll still be attending the Library con, but sadly, will be unable to troop. I’ve attempted to hit the “cancel” button but it stays under My Troops, and I’m still listed under RSVPs. However, not under “Costume Ticket” I don’t know but the tool appears to have some snags.

  5. Walter Ronald

    Hello Everyone,

I will be onsite Friday, October 12th, 2018 at 8:00pm to set up the 501st Legion booth.
The set up time will be 8:00pm to 11:00pm (three hours to set up). We are setting up on the second floor and the same area.
Volunteers to help me set up are welcome. Please post here if you can help set up.

Ops Orders will be posted next week.
    Thank you.

    Walter

  6. Diana Wolf Torres

    Hi Walter-

I should be able to help you set-up and help with booth if you need it. I can be there early. I can only be there for the early part of the day. I also need to leave early, (by noontime at the latest.)

    Brian-

I’d like to put down my soft costume (officer) as a secondary / backup costume in case I don’t get a chance to put on my clone armor since I am short on time for this day.

  7. Jason Goldman-Hall

    Hey folks,
Saturday has changed a bit for me, and I don’t think I’ll be able to show up until 11ish. I think I’ll keep my kit at home, and just help out at the 501 and RL booths as needed.

  8. Walter Ronald

    Hello Everyone!
I love this event and it will be my third time doing this! Set-up is still Friday evening starting at 8:00pm and ending at 11:00pm. John and I just finished up the OPS Orders tonight and i’m typing them up now. I will send this to John and Tracy (EC) for final review before posting.
Everyone, please plan to arrive early at 8:00am for parking and 8:30am for our GGG Welcome, Introductions, and Briefing with John and I. No breakfast provided.

Also, NO BLASTERS OR PROP WEAPONS! This includes the fan table. This is a fun family event!

Right now, we need your trading cards and any GGG approved giveaways for the fan table. You can also bring your helmets for the table.

Something New! This year, all clubs are asked to be more interactive with kids and families. John Schlosser and the library staff will be providing our fan table with coloring sheets, crayons, and pens for the kids and families to draw Star Wars stuff (in this case… we’re bad guys… so let’s get creative with the attendees!). There will be open library tables and chairs directly in front of our booth.

Edwin, yes you can still sign up!

Diana & Vince- We can use one team leader for the morning 9:00am-11:30am. Are you open?
I have to take a work related conference call.

Fan Table Sign Ups Are Now Open:
    10am-12pm: Need two people (non-costume)
    12:00pm-1:00pm: Need two people (non-costume)
    1:00pm-3:00pm: Need two people (non-costume)
    3:00pm-3:45pm: Need two people (non-costume)

There’s no news on any special guest escorts or photo ops.

    Thank you!
