| Please briefly describe the event: | The Variety Gold Heart Classic, is a golf tournament, charity auction and luncheon to benefit our programs providing independence and mobility to Variety children. Proceeds from the event will specifically fund custom built adaptive bicycles to disabled children. We also hope to present a little girl with her own bike at the luncheon. We are hoping that Garrison members will pose with attendees for pictures to increase our fundraising and fun! It has worked int he past and we hope it will again.
This event is heavily supported by entertainment industry companies and executives, some of those committed to date are: This year’s honoree is the retiring CEO and President of Christie Digital, Jack Kline, and he is bringing a lot of friends from Southern California to support Variety kids. We sincerely hope a few of your members may be able to join us for this fun, “no experience necessary, to play a round, for Variety kids”, event. If it helps offset expenses for those Garrison members to come to the North Bay, we may be able to make a donation to the Garrison. We look forward to hearing from you! Warmest regards, |
