Hello Event Team,

This is Walter Ronald (TA-61972). Jeff Goodall (Campus Event Manager at VMware) would like to invite the Rebel Legion & the Golden Gate Garrison for our third annual Star Wars event on Friday, May the 4th, (be with you!) 2018. It would take place at the same location, here in Palo Alto, at our Headquarters. This event will happen in the late afternoon during our beer bash starting at 4:00PM and ending at 7:00PM.

Last year, we were able to impress Mr. Goodall, our coworkers, and their kids with full cast of 501st characters and looking forward to having you all back again. This year, we have extended the invitation to the Rebel Legion. We are very exciting to finally have the Jedi’s to our event. We will have “Return of the Jedi” playing on the big screen in the cafe! Jeff will be wearing his Tauntaun costume that he made for Halloween last year and count on employees to dress up as well.

This event is a photo op with the employees, our families, and especially the children.

Secured Changing Room: Yes, I will make arrangements to have a large room for 20 + participants and a security guard to protect our belongings. If we get more than 20 troopers, I will reserve more conference rooms.
Prop Weapons: Yes and we will follow the legion’s prop weapons policy
Props: I will bring the 501st Legion card stock banner. I’m planning to set up the banner in advance before everyone arrives onsite. We would love to have the Rebel Legion card stock banner onsite as well.
Food & Drinks: Our company will provide tasty snacks and assorted soda and water.

After the event, the legion is welcome to stay and enjoy our fire pit session with wonderful storytelling by Uncle Dengar.
More food will be available for us.
