Register for a Troop

Easy steps on how to sign up for a trooping event

First, find the event you would like to troop. You can find troops by going to the troop list or troop calendar. Remember, you MUST be LOGGED IN to view the list of troops!

Once you've found a troop, read through the details and go to the "Trooping" area at the bottom of each event page.

If you are trooping in costume, select one ticket next to the "Costume Ticket"

When you select a costume ticket, another drop down menu will appear where you must indicate which costume you will be wearing.

Once you have selected a costume, if you want to add more details, i.e. Sith > ESB Vader, make a note in the comments area.

After you hit the "Submit" button, you will receive emails letting you know if you are approved for the event.

You can check on the status of your troop, but going to your "My Troops" link. It shows your upcoming troops and links to each event page.

If you need to Cancel out on an event, go to the My Troops page and click on the "Cancel" next to the event you want to leave. This automatically notifies the EC that you intend to not troop and saves a lot of back and forth emails, so please use this option whenever possible.

You can sign up as a handler by claiming a "Handler" ticket for the event. If you are signing up a Non-Member as a handler, choose the Handler ticket and add their name in the comments before you submit.

Note that we now allow Non-Members to register on the site and sign up for their own troops.

As a reminder, as sponsoring member, you are responsible for their adherence to all garrison regulations and must comply with directions from the team lead.

You can sign up as a photographer by choosing the "Photographer" ticket. If you are signing up a Non-Member as a photographer, choose the photographer ticket and add their name in the comments before you submit.

Note that we now allow Non-Members to register on the site and sign up for their own troops.
