Comic-con International would value the help of the Star Wars fan costume community with attendees waiting in line to get their credentials for the SDCC from Thursday, July 21, to Sunday, July 24.

The four California 501st garrisons and two RL bases have been allotted 12 volunteer slots each. The opportunity offered: if volunteers do a single shift (6am-10am) to take pictures with attendees as they wait in line, the volunteer would get the following:

• a show badge good for all four days of the show along with access to Wednesday Preview Night, July 20
• can pick up their badge early in advance of Wednesday Preview Night July 20 (additional details will be provided later)

Please be advised CCI is only providing an opportunity for a show badge. This does not include transportation, housing, parking or food.

DUE Sunday June 19 by 8pm

Must be a GGG member and volunteer slots are on first come first served basis. Any additional submission will be kept as an alternate. 12 max. Any unused spots will be given to Imperial Sands and Sunrider Members.

This sounds tempting and I wouldn’t mind doing it, thing is i already have a 4day pass from 2020. Wouldn’t mind getting preview day for Wednesday that I didn’t get and getting my pass early also seems nice, just wouldn’t want to take an opportunity from someone else who doesn’t have passes. I wouldn’t mind participating for the pics in the morning if they have a changing area. 6:30 to 10:30 sounds good being outside since it shouldn’t be that hot at that time.
