Apologies if this isn’t the correct forum – please move it if is not appropriate.

I’m Sam, TK77255 from Outpost 42 Garrison in New Zealand and I’ll be visiting your area between Mar 2 – 25.

I wondered if you had any get togethers planned, or if anyone wanted to meet up for a beverage of some sort? I’ll be staying in the East Bay but am open for anything really and I’m generally free during the daytime and probably evenings but not likely the weekends.
I’m hoping to migrate to SF sometime this year, I’ve been four times previously and I thought I should finally meet some of the locals.

Are you Sam Barge? When I visited New Zealand a few years back, I was fortunate enough to meet a couple of folks from your garrison. I’d be down to meet up, just let me know.

Sorry for the delay – its been a little manic since I arrived (in a great way) and I’m heading across to the east coast for a memorial service later this week for the weekend.

I am not Sam Barge, but I have trooped with him Edwin 🙂 Sadly I haven’t brought any armour over with me, but there is always next time!

Wondering how people are fixed for catching up on the 13th or 14th?

Hi Sam,

The 13th would work for me. Would you be able to come into SF for lunch? It’s not the most exciting, but you’re welcome to come to the Pinterest office for free food, or Jeremy Dizon (another GGG member) works at AirBnB down the street and is free that day for lunch. He also offered to host us at his office. You can get the full Silicon Valley experience. 🙂 Both of our offices are in the SoMa district – around 6th and Brannan.

Let me know what works! If you’re on FB, we could also use Messenger to coordinate.

A little late circling back (jetlag and work to catch up on when I got back to NZ) but…

It was great to meet you both, thanks for showing me around.

I’m back in the city in 5 weeks for 10 days, and then again in August – so hopefully I’ll catch up with some more of you then.
